Hours of Operation

The Center operates between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, 12 months a year. 

 Attendance is taken at 10:00am for lunch.  You must let someone at the Center know if your child will be late.  Also, it is very important that you pick up your child no later than 6:00pm (or 1:00pm for part-timers) so that we can be considerate to our staff members and their families.  Let's work together to keep this from becoming a problem.  Any parent who is later than 6:05pm (or 1:05pm for part-timers) will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute

Goals

Although the goals of this Center vary according to the age and needs of each child, our main goal is to create an atmosphere in which children can be emotionally healthy and happy.  Our other goals include the following

• help children to feel special and worthy through interaction with teachers and other children
• encourage children to talk about their feelings, fears and wishes
• teach children to communicate through words rather than the use of aggression
• enable children to understand and empathize with one another
• interact with children using positive approaches that emphasize accomplishments and reward good behaviors
• hold, hug, cuddle and praise each child every day
